Disability Awareness Activity badge

Although this Activity badge has been around for a while, its not one we'd tackled before. The Leaders were delighted how positively our Cubs tackeled each part of the Disability Awareness badge. We used a mobility scooter to discuss wheelchair access, talked about equipment for the deaf and hard of hearing, made sandwiches using only one hand, the Cubs wrote their names in braille using food stuffs and celebrated the achievements of Jonnie Peacock (both in athletics and Strictly Come Dancing!)
